Pontius Pilate's unnamed wife, possibly Claudia Procula, a granddaughter of Augustus Caesar, is one of the many intriguing women whose remarkable role in Christendom's formation has not been forgotten thanks to the bible's 38 words or so that speak of her actions one fateful day, nearly 2000 years ago. Women, though often politically powerless, have for eons, in all strata's of society, shared intuition and wisdom at critical times that have changed the course of history one way or the other.
